Weddings are available at the resort for an additional fee. We were married there in April 2006 at a small beachfront ceremony. It was a dream, relaxing, memorable and stress-free. You are assigned a wedding coordinator who handles every single detail.

The marriage is legal in Mexico only. Barcelo Maya offers the apostille seal in the marriage document (sent 3-4 months after wedding ceremony), to legalize the marriage in your country.

Photos are available from the resort Foto Caribbean wedding services, the onsite photo shop. You can contact them at photocaribbean@prodigy.net.mx or photocaribbean@hotmail.com and Ph. +52 984 873 24 25. You cannot bring outside photographers in for your wedding unless they are already a guest at the hotel.
The weddings department sends a list of weddings to the Photo Shop and they are scheduled. You should re-confirm with them when you arrive. The Photo Shop is located in the Caribe Lobby.
